I had so much fun taking Easton's one year photos. I did these a week before his birthday with the help of my TAN (Totally Awesome Neighbor).
First thing in the morning, Rebecca met me outside to help take the highchair pictures. She pretty much made fun of me and told me that it was sooo natural to be in a highchair eating cake in a field. When we were done though, she said she may borrow the highchair for her little guy. Ha!
Rebecca took the following seven photos along with the one at the top-which is my favorite!

I wanted his cake to be darker blue-not matching the chair. I thought of doing yellow instead, but I didn't think it would show up as well.
After nap #2, I took him outside again for more shots.

I think he might have had enough of the pictures so I let him take a break.....
I realized I didn't get any close up shots at the morning cake session, so when Derek got home, I did it again!
The main reason I wanted Rebecca's help was because Easton does not sit still and stands in highchairs, and I thought he would do that as soon as I put him in, but he didn't. He sat the whole time. Maybe because the chair was new to him. For the evening shoot, as noted above, he didn't sit very long.
Next up- the birthday party.
(nothing spectacular- but I'm done with pictures for now =))

okay so you're totally awesome!! I need that highchair. I love love love those pictures and always wish I had cuter props for my photos. I also wish I had a field for taking photos in. Cute birthday boy and cute pictures. I wish we lived closer and got together more because I would have totally helped with pictures and not made fun at all:)
