Teeny Tiny Projects

Instead of a towel bar in the kids' bath, I added this:
...and I love it.
Finally made a wreath for the front door.
And since Arden's ballet shoes from last year don't fit, this shadow box was a perfect idea.

Arden

When Arden turned 3, I didn't get a chance to have a "photo shoot" with her (probably due to moving). So in MAY(!) I attempted to get some OK pictures of her.
Didn't work out so well. She doesn't always like to cooperate. I let her choose her favorite outfit (She had two at the time).

This face is so her:
Sass, attitude, and beauty =)
This has been her favorite dress for nine months. Definitely a winner (she wasn't even with me when I picked it out! I should get major points for that-she is very picky about her clothes.)
So, when she turned three, I asked her this set of questions and will (try) continue to do so for all of her birthdays:

1. What is your favorite color? purple
2. What is your favorite toy?books, computer
3. What is your favorite fruit? pineapple, bomana
4. What is your favorite tv show? hickey mouse, fresh beat band

Even after 9 months, it's fun to read this because so much has changed, including the way she talks.

Random

One afternoon in May, I heard Easton wake up from his nap, then he was unusually very quiet for a while....I decided to go check on him and he had taken his diaper off, grabbed a chunk of poop and then pulled a million little pieces off and even put a piece on his head! Luckily most of the poop stayed in the diaper. Could've been much worse. I do have my own similar story, but much messier. I was probably about the same age and my mom had just given me a bath and put me down for a nap. I was being too quiet, so she went in to check on me and I had poop smeared all over the wall and completely covering my face. I didn't miss a spot either and the you could only see my eyes.
Arden having fun with Easton's birthday balloons.

He loves water. So much so that he can't just play with the water table....He needs to be IN it. Every time. And so he climbs...
Love looking out the window and seeing this:

I told Derek I want to live on a farm. With a few chickens. He's just concerned about who's going to cut the grass. I told him we can get some animals for that.

We a billions of frogs around us. BILLIONS. The tiny ones.
