November

November (a lot like every other month) was full of music and dancing. Here are two clips of the kids busting a move:

November 14th, Arden had her school Thanksgiving Program. Her class sang three songs. Arden sang a tiny bit near the end of each song and did a tiny bit of the hand motions =).
Arden also got her first haircut! I cut it a few minutes before we left for her program. THREE inches! It looks so much better. The dancing videos were before the cut.

We took some pictures playing in heaps of leaves!

Just before Thanksgiving, for some strange reason I went with a group of ladies to see the newest Twilight movie... Breaking Dawn I think? I have never read any of the books or seen any of the movies and let me just say I thought it was dumb. Maybe if I read the books it wouldn't have been so lame, but come on. A girl running through the woods at the speed of light?! It was so silly. The fighting part was a little exciting.
For Thanksgiving I made a yummy Pumpkin cream cheese maple cake.It wasn't as good the second time I made it because I added too much pumpkin. I never make anything the same twice. I wanted to take a picture of it, but I forgot until the last minute so I asked Arden to take a picture for me and that's what I got =)

Arden was so excited to see Aubree at Thanksgiving. The day before, she told me she wanted to hold her and have me take a picture.

I love Brigham wearing Arden's pink sparkly TOM's.

Halloween

The weekend before Halloween was a busy one with Halloween parties, trunk or treats, and activities for the kids. We went to Riverbend Farm with some families from church.

For Halloween Arden was Marina from The Fresh Beat Band. I lucked out finding a dress the same color as Marina's and we already had the leggings so I just had to make the belt.

In case you couldn't tell, Easton was an Oompa Loompa.
I had a time finding a brown or white turtleneck that didn't have ruffles or pleats. Also- it's almost impossible to find white sweatpants. I finally found a white Carolina Panthers turtleneck and dyed it brown and my mom picked up some grey sweatpants that I tried to bleach. They took forever to get white and when they did, they were totally eaten up by the bleach. oops. I had to settle for white leggings, but they didn't look too bad.
I made his suspenders and buttons and painted the stripes on the shirt and socks.

Easton won best costume at two different events. I must say he did rock it.

Easton loved trick or treating and it was so fun watching him go to houses. He wasn't scared at all and pulled Arden out of her shell. If he didn't think he got enough candy, he wouldn't leave the porch.
