Movin Out

When I lived in NYC, Billy Joel's "Movin Out" was my favorite Broadway show (of the few that I saw). That could be just because I love his music, but whatever. I've been on the 'so behind' blog team, and it's time to step it up....That doesn't mean I actually will. First off, the reason for this lack of blogging is because.....drum roll......we moved!!!......TWICE! Not so fun but exciting all the same. When I posted awhile ago about our 'great news and best Christmas present we could ask for', I know some thought that meant I was pregnant (I saw the belly stares!). HA! We got an offer on our house two days before Christmas and suddenly all of the houses on our list were gone and no new houses were popping up! We put offers on two houses that fell through. After we signed for our new home, tons of houses steadily came on the market that fit our criteria. Funny how that happens. I feel we are where we are supposed to be. We have nice neighbors (so far) a top school. There is a three year old boy across the street and Saturday, Arden had about a 30 minute conversation with him from an upstairs window while he was outside. They were setting up future play dates and talking about what they were going to do. We had to live in a rental for three weeks and Easton woke up every 1-2 hours there. I don't know if it was coincidence or if there was something wrong with the place, but the first night at our new house, he slept through the night and has been ever since. Our house is new which is fun, but we didn't get to pick anything out, since it was originally built for someone else and fell through. There are little things that bother me and I think, "why didn't they do that?!" but that's OK. I would put pictures up, but I just think if you want to see it, you should just come visit!
