Eight Months (1.12.12):
Easton started crawling on his hands and knees (unless he has to get somewhere fast, he drops down to army crawl-like if he feels he's being chased.)
Climbed all the way up the stairs for the first time and thinks it's the greatest thing ever.
Eight months also brought us a cruiser- even along the walls!
Does not like anything green. Green beans, peas, avocado(who doesn't like avocado?!)
Really only likes bananas.
Chatting up a storm. Baba, dada, gaga.
Learned to growl.
Loves 'peek-a-boo.' He also likes to be the one to hide and pop out.
1.11.12-first tooth broke through (bottom-P)
1.13.12 second tooth (bottom-O)
Last two weeks at 8 months, he had a low grade fever (even though they say it's not true, I suspect from teething) and slept through the night for those two weeks. Score!
2.1.12-Third tooth came in (Top-E)
Nine Months (2.12.12):
Just like textbook, separation anxiety sets in. yikes. wants to be held all.the.time. Always
Sleeping through the night ceases. Big time. He wakes up every 1.5 hours and only wants to sleep on me. I've tried laying him in our bed, but he thinks that's playtime. I basically walk around like a zombie and hope that breakfast, lunch and dinner magically appear on the table and that a cleaning fairy will fly through my house waving her little wand.....I'm still waiting.
I'm sure people would say that I should savor every moment with him while he's a baby because it won't last, but my body hurts. I need sleep.
He no longer army crawls.
Growls on command. Hehe. He happens to think it's hilarious.
Climbing the stairs is his favorite activity. He's fast and thinks it's so funny. He goes up one or two steps until he gets my attention then laughs and races up. We unfortunately don't have a baby gate at the moment.
2.15.12-Fourth tooth (top-F)
Stats:
Length- 30in (98%)
Weight- 20lbs 12oz (50%)
Head- I'm thinking it was 42cm.or maybe 46cm. Does that sound normal?
A new nurse/assistant was training they day we went to the doctor and initially weighed Easton at 26lbs. I didn't pay attention when they did it, so when the doctor told me, I said there is no way since he was 19lbs just three months ago!
I don't have access to his photos now, so I'll have to add some in a couple of weeks =)

To me, time seems to go so slow and the all of a sudden I m like where did the time go?! Oh and if you see that little cleaning fairy send her my way... I have a lot for her to do! Meals are such a stress for me! I never know what to make...Trey is the pickiest eater,Emmett eats anything, including food that has been crusted on the floor for days or hiding under the refrigerator! I keep wondering when can these kids do some chores around here! We need to get together soon. Maybe at a romp n roll so the older ones can play while we sit on the floor with the little guys and chat.
We just love hearing about our sweet grandson. He is growing so quickly!
