It's hard to believe Easton is already a month old (as of last Sunday). He's a pretty easy going baby; he doesn't cry very much. One of the nurses said he just protests. He does spit up a lot though. I had to change my shirt 5 times today.
He doesn't like to be swaddled and prefers to sleep on his belly. Last night he slept 5.5 hours straight, so we are getting there!
Arden absolutely loves him. She calls him baby brudder and Heaton.
She wants to hold him all the time and she races me upstairs when he wakes up saying, "no Mommy! Auden get him!" "I change his biper" "I carry him, mommy!"
The first couple of weeks, when Derek or I would hold Easton and kiss his head, Arden thought we were smelling his hair and would always say, "me too! I smell baby's hair too!" Now she knows and always asks to "kiss head mommy?"
When she talks to him, she uses an extremely high pitched voice and says things like, "awww cute baby!" "tiny feet!" "Hi baby! so little!"
I'm still scared to venture out in public alone, but yesterday we went to my dad's. That counts for something, right? I've been craving a BLT, so I just might have to go out today.
I never made it out today...bit of a crazy day in this place.
