Life Goes On

Remember that show? Anyway...

*Derek's parents were here to help out when Easton was born and when they left, that first day I had to wake up alone with two kids, I was quite scared(just because I was so tired- and still am!!) but we made it! I strapped Easton onto me in my Mei Tai (which he absolutely loves) and we made it....and still are. While they were here and helping with Arden, I slept as much as possible, but for some reason the extra sleep I saved up, didn't really last. hmm...
*My feet are still swollen and I still have pain in my pelvis and can't lay on my sides, but that's OK.
*One week after Easton was born my Grandma (Mom's mom) died. Very unexpectedly, very tragically, very shocking. It's actually hard for me to believe. What really got to me was when my mom called me and told me that she had an 'it's a boy!' card on her counter. You know, that she had been thinking of us recently. She was pretty young, definitely young acting and very spunky and funny. I think I'm still in shock. I have only told two of my best friends about it.

(Thanksgiving 2006)

*I wish my bestest friend didn't live so far so we could hang out every day. I hate that I don't see her often, but I love that I can talk to her about anything. Oh, and I got her to start a blog. Yay!
*Just today, my Grandmother (Dad's mom) had to be moved to an assisted living center for rehab after spending the week in the hospital. We are hoping she gets better and gets to go home.
*Hanson. I loved them when I was younger and I still do. I love their new single, "Give A Little" (It's on my little music player so go listen). Back when they were the stuff...I was maybe 13 or 14....and a local radio station was giving away tickets for a free concert Hanson was going to be doing. My mom took my neighbor and me downtown at 3AM so we could wait in line {or actually sleep on the side walk} with a thousand others to get tickets. I think they started to give them away at 8AM. It was fun and I'll never forget it. Do you remember how Zac, the drummer wore his hair in the tiny dreadlocks? Well Ashley spent something like EIGHT hours doing that to my hair. It felt really cool.
*Arden is apparently bored and needs play dates.

When you say Ashley did that to your hair, is that Ashley me? I definitely do not remember that! I think we all need to see a picture :) Maybe I will go update my own blog now.

OMGOSH. YES YOU. You sat on the couch and I sat on the floor. The only picture I had (that I know of) was my carowinds season pass photo. You finished my hair just before I left with some friends to get our passes. I'm not even sure that pass is around anymore :/
