About a month ago (I know, I know) Derek's parents came to visit for a week. It's so nice having a little extra help around.
Sesame Street Live was in town while they were here, so we took Arden to see it. Arden has always liked elmo and cookie monster, never really cared about watching Sesame Street on TV, but she really liked the show. We enjoyed it too; it was very cute.
On Sunday, we only planned on going to church the first hour. Well as we were making our way out, I kept getting stopped by people, so Derek went ahead and took Arden out. apparently that wasn't her plan to leave early. She made her way back to the door and met me inside, grabbed my hand and pulled me to her class door. She loves nursery!(I really think that it didn't help that one of her teachers picked her up in the hall to give her a hug and talk to her.) So, like good parents, we let her go to class and left! Don't point fingers; I was feeling particularly bad that day and there was no way I could have sat/stood around any longer. I told her teacher that she was 'mommy' until the end of church =).
The night before Nana and Papa left, we went to Chuck E Cheese. Arden loves that place and we really don't even have to spend any money there because her favorite things are the slide and the band.

She does like skeeball but she doesn't like to stay in one lane and throws the balls rather wildly.
(see the ball in the air?)
Arden cried for about 15 minutes after Nana and Papa left, then when Derek came back home, she got excited, saying, "Daddy Home!" Then she looked out the window and said, "Where's Nana?" and started crying again. She has a tough time with goodbyes. Poor thing.
