Halloween Fun!

Two weeks ago, Arden and I went to a nearby farm to play, pick pumpkins and see the animals. I couldn't get many pictures since A) I was alone B) I had to go down all the huge slides with Arden C)at the pumpkin patch, there were so many vines so I had to either hold her hand or carry her. She had tons of fun though and didn't want to leave.

(Hey, We tried!)

A new pose?!

This could've gone wrong....

...but she's all smiles!

She loved this "horsieeeeee!"

This calf was absolutely adorable. Arden kept saying, "Hey buddy!" she'd crack up when he would lick her hand.

Friday night, we went to our church's Trunk or Treat. They had games and food beforehand.

After about three cars, Arden got the hang of it and loved it. Someone gave her an empty wrapper, so the next few cars, after getting her candy, she took it back out of her basket to inspect it. I guess she was making sure she wasn't getting more trash.

She was so happy going home carrying her basket.

I kept hearing her moving the candy around and I was thinking poor thing doesn't really know how to open the wrappers, then I looked back and she was BEAMING, chewing on something. I asked to open her mouth so I could see it, but she wouldn't. We got home and I put her to bed, and looked in her basket and found this:

Arden has hardly no experience with candy, obviously. Silly girl.

Saturday night, we carved pumpkins and cooked pumpkin seeds. Arden enjoyed watching for about five minutes.

Sunday night, we took her trick or treating to a few houses in the neighborhood. walking back home, I gave her a lollipop. (This was her first ever lollipop-see the joy on that face?!)
Arden had a blast and I plan to use her candy for potty training!

Oh, I wish you had called me when you went to that farm. We went there last year and loved it. I wanted to go this year but never got the chance and didn't really want to go alone since I knew I would have to go down the big slides with the kids and that wouldn't be such a great idea considering my huge stomach:) Bummer. Maybe next year.

I can't believe you have never given Arden a lollipop. Have you ever flown with her?? That is how Emery got her first lollipop. Flying at 7 months:) I'm a bad mom like that.

These pictures are so cute. Brigham had his first lollipop on Saturday when we were trick-or-treating at carowinds. He would not take it out of his mouth until it was completely gone.
