Nature Museum!

I had been wanting to go to the Nature Museum since someone told me about it in May so I finally got together with Rebecca and Trey in July and we had a blast!

The water table was a hit!




We found this cute little bug!










They have a nice butterfly garden (did you know that butterflies only live for about 2 weeks- so don't catch them and keep them locked up! They need to spread their wings and fly!)(and mate too).





Arden loved running up and down the wooden walkway to the outdoor nature walk.




As we were leaving one of the baby chicks was about to hatch. It was so cute watching the tiny cracked egg rocking. We then headed out to a shaded area by the park and had a lunch in the super humid heat. It was nice =)


I have this great pass that gets us into about 300 Zoos, nature centers and Science centers in the US/Canada for only $62/family for a year! Don't think that's a great deal? Well if you get a Discovery Place membership, it includes only the Nature Museum and is $100. With my pass, I can visit the NC zoo for free, NC aquariums free, SC zoo 1/2 off and many other places for free or half off!!!

So we will be going to the Nature Museum and Discovery Place lots! If anyone wants to join us that would be awesome!!!! It's more fun going with people.
