School Days

Post #4 of the night. I'm on a roll!
Arden started 'real' preschool in September and she absolutely loves it! We started her going two days/wk and had to move her to three days, because she was begging to go every day that she didn't have school.
They ask that the kids not wear open toe shoes, which is very upsetting for a little girl who loves shoes, especially sandals!

Her first week, I made chocolate covered apple slices for her lunch. She rarely eats apples, but she loved these (she didn't know they were apples)! I also cut her sandwiches into shapes (butterfly and heart are her favs) to add a little excitement to lunch. The first time I did it, it was the first thing out of her mouth when I picked her up. It was so cute. The simple things that make a kids day....

The preschool director asked me how I did the zigzag with her braids so good....It was actually only the second time I ever french braided hair and had no clue that I did it.
Arden picks out her own clothes most days and I'm totally OK with it, but I'm sure her teacher says "what the heck?!"" more times than not. =)
