June/July recap

In June, we went to an inflatables place with Issa, where a nine year old would NOT leave me alone, begging me to hold my 6 week old....I started to think maybe she was a baby snatcher. Arden did not stop laughing the whole time.

Although it's blown out, I just love this picture. I happen to think Arden looks like a little model-

Easton had his baby blessing on July 31.
No, I am NOT picking my nose.

I made this skirt Arden is wearing. It's not perfect and if you look closely, there are flaws, but I love it and so does she. I bought this fabric almost a year ago with plans for this type of skirt.
In July, we went to the Nature Museum with a friend. Arden LOVED this bird-Yes, she's kissing it.
Just as we were about to leave, they brought out a corn snake. Arden watched for a while but wouldn't touch it. I told her it was time to go, but she refused and pulled me over to the snake and finally decided she was going to touch it. She was so excited and I was shocked she did it!

The Friday before July 4th, our neighbors put on an amazing fireworks show. I'd say it rivaled any professional job.

On Saturday, Ashley, Mark, Brigham, Clarisa and my mom came over and we all went swimming. Afterward, Arden and Brigham put on a concert complete with awesome dancing. Unfortunately I can't get the video loaded on blogger.Monday (7.4) other neighbors shot off fireworks and we let Arden stay up to watch. She was a little scared at first, but quickly changed. For the next week, she asked to see fireworks.

Arden went swimming four times this summer. It just doesn't quite work when you have a little one who isn't supposed to be in the water and no help!

We went to Discovery Place twice. First time, Easton was 4 weeks old. It was my first outing alone.
Arden loved this Duct tape shoe display:

Dancing in her favorite area:
We went again in July with Ashley, Brigham and Clarisa but I didn't get any photos that visit.

It was so nice to see the photo of you all on Easton's blessing day. Arden's skirt is so pretty! Fits her so well and the colors are wonderful. A package from Fisher-Price is on its way.
