We had a great day yesterday with family and friends and definitely ate too much, but how can you not with such yummy food?! Last night I even went out shopping at midnight. First time ever doing any crazy hour black Friday shopping, but I only went to one store and lets just say it's fun when you go with someone. I did not go with anyone, but an old friend I've practically known since I was a baby was in line too just 2 people behind me so we chatted and it made the time go by faster. I was home by 1:30, and if I had someone to continue shopping with, I would have. Not that I needed anything, but it was a bit exciting, I must say.
Next up- Arden's Birthday and Christmas. Oh the excitement and busyness of the holidays.
Arden's wish list contains bikes and ride on toys, a microphone, babies, shoes and purses.
Derek's wish list probably contains shoes (well he needs new ones so they should be on his list), work clothes, an xbox 360 with kinect thanks to my brother in law, And his biggest wish (a new job offer!) was just fulfilled.
My list includes a new steam mop since mine died, a Kitchen Aid Mixer (apparently I will never buy this for myself), a Magic Bullet, clothes are always great, CD's, and a new house ;).

umm HELLO why didn't you tell us about Derek's new job offer? I want details! Also, I will sell you my kitchenaid if you want a red one. It is really great and they don't even make this model anymore so I am the only way you can get it :) You should totally surprise Derek with some new shoes for Christmas. Poor guy shouldn't walk around with duct tape holding his shoes together anymore. Just in case you are interested I want the Silhouette SD for Christmas. It is the coolest thing I have ever seen.
Well I didn't know if I was allowed to talk about the j-o-b until I got yelled at for not telling anyone on Thursday ;) And what the heck is a Silhouette SD? seems kinda like the Cricut? What do you do with it? Why do you want to get rid of your mixer? I kind of want a silver one.
The silhouette is kind of like a cricut but it can make anything, not just paper cutouts. You can make iron ons for shirts, temporary tattoos, vinyl lettering, ANYTHING. It is on sale today so I think I will get it as a Christmas present for myself. Hopefully Mark won't mind. ha ha ha. I want a silver mixer as well. If they still sold the Accolade then I would sell ours and get another one but they don't so it makes it a little more complicated since Mark wants the accolade.
